Lectures for future - 2nd level

«Lectures for Future» is a new interdisciplinary lecture series initiated by the Center for Global Change and Sustainability at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna in the academic year 2019.

Meanwhile the «Lectures for Future» are already offered at ten Austrian universities. The TU Vienna is responsible for the general coordination for the academic year 2020/2021. In their commitment as "Scientists for Future", researchers provide insights into their scientific work on the climate crisis, environment and society.
The further development of this novel teaching and mediation format is now being scientifically accompanied in the project «Lectures for Future 2nd level», which is supported by the Center for Technology and Society (CTS). The aim is to examine the impact of the «Lectures for Future» on research and teaching, to work out parameters for successful innovation formation and the implications of a reflexive concept of sustainability in the context of inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation.
