ÖH Wahl 2025 - wähle deine Vertretung!

Die österreichische Hochschüler*innenschaft (ÖH) ist in Österreich eine gesetzlich verankerte Vertretung von Studierenden an allen Universitäten und FHs. Die ÖH ist auf drei unterschiedlichen Ebenen aktiv: Studienvertretung, Universitätsvertretung und Bundesvertretung.

Wie die Vertretung sich zusammensetzt, wird bei der ÖH Wahl alle zwei Jahre entschieden.
Dieses Jahr finden die ÖH Wahlen von 13. bis 15. Mai 2025 statt. Du kannst entweder vor Ort oder per Briefwahl wählen.

Es dürfen alle Studierenden wählen, egal welche Staatsbürger*innenschaft, egal ob im Bachelor-, Master- oder Doktoratsstudium und auch Studierende, die dieses Semester auf Erasmus an der TU Wien sind. Die einzige Voraussetzung: du hast dich bis zum 25.03.
für dein Studium fortgemeldet.

Wahl vor Ort:
Architekturstudierende wählen im Prechtlsaal (Hauptgebäude Karlsplatz 13, gleich links vom Haupteingang).

Die Wahlzeiten sind:
13.05., Dienstag: 10 – 19 Uhr
14.05., Mittwoch: 9 – 19 Uhr
15.05., Donnerstag: 8 – 14 Uhr

Briefwahl:
Du kannst deine Briefwahlkarte online beantragen. Das ist praktisch, falls du nicht zur Uni kommen kannst. Wenn du per Briefwahl wählst, kannst du leider nur die Bundesvertretung und Universitätsvertretung wählen, nicht die Studienvertretung. Aber: wenn du deine Briefwahlkarte unausgefüllt zur Präsenzwahl mitnimmst, kannst du auch noch vor Ort wählen.
Damit deine Stimme gezählt wird, muss die Wahlkarte vor dem zweiten Wahltag (14.5.2025) um 18:00 Uhr bei der Wahlkommission verschlossen und inklusive einer eidesstattlichen Erklärung (also unterschrieben) persönlich oder postalisch eingelangt sein.

The Austrian Students Union (ÖH) is the legally anchored representation of students at all universities in Austria. The ÖH is active on three different levels: Study Representatives, University Student Representation and Federal Student Representation.

The composition of the representation is decided at the ÖH elections every two years.
This year, the ÖH elections will take place from 13 to 15 May 2025. You can either vote on site or by postal vote.

All students are eligible to vote, regardless of their nationality, whether they are studying for a Bachelor's, Master's or doctorate, as well as students who are on Erasmus at TU Wien this semester. The only requirement: (you have registered for your studies by 25.03.) (hier noch auf rückmeldung von lukas warten, was fortmeldung auf englisch heißt)

Vote on site:
Architecture students vote in the Prechtlsaal (main building Karlsplatz 13, just to the left of the main entrance).

The election times are:
13 May, Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
14 May, Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
15 May, Thursday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Postal vote:
You can apply for your postal voting card online. This is practical if you are unable to come to the university. Unfortunately, if you vote by post, you can only vote for the Federal Student Representation and university Student Representation, not the Study Representatives. However, if you take your postal voting card with you to the in-person election without filling it out, you can still vote on site.
In order for your vote to be counted, the voting card must be received by the Election Committee before the second election day (14 May 2025) at 18:00, sealed and including a signed statutory declaration in person or by post.
