final results - Module From*Design: From Wearables to Space 16.06. & 27.06.2025

Module ‘From*Design: From Wearables to Space’ focuses on a multidisciplinary process which aims at translating haptic and spatial experiences into the design and fabrication of multi-sensorial stage design productions for a multimedia performance. The projects are conceived, designed and fabricated based on open discussions and analysis with musicians and performers, while in parallel, design reviews, discursive sessions and material workshops with architects and designers are providing additional creative inputs and technical constraints.
Five spatial experiences -each one inspired by a haptic wearable and a 'Viennese' place - will be presented in a playful experimental context stimulating our senses. The projects’ presentations will take place on Monday 16th of June at 10:00 in the Modelliersaal (TU Wien main building, Karlsplatz 13, 4 Floor, Entrance through Hof 1 Stiege 10). The performance will take place on the 27th of June at 18:30 in the Klangtheater (mdw main campus, Anton-von-Webern-Platz 1, 1030 Wien)
