1.Registration: Submission of diploma examination transcript and notification of second and third examiners

The Master's degree is submitted online.
Please log in to TISS with your TU account and go to the menu item Degree. Master's degrees must be submitted during the submission period (see degree examination dates).
When assigning the certificates, please note that the diploma thesis and the board examination are only graded after the diploma examination and therefore do not need to be assigned at the time of submission.
If you have certificates of recognition, Erasmus certificates or certificates (courses from other universities), please send them scanned by e-mail to thomas.baitar@tuwien.ac.at

Please check your personal data in TISS and update it if necessary.

The examiners must already be specified upon submission; a current oral confirmation from the examiners is mandatory. It is not necessary to indicate the subjects of the examiners when submitting in TISS.

• The examiners must be from different research areas, have different examination subjects and should preferably be chosen from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning.
• Overview of professors and lecturers (pdf)
• If one of the examiners is an assistant with a doctorate or an external examiner, you require special permission from the Dean of Studies Architecture  (only a maximum of one assistant or one external examiner possible).

2. Registration for the diploma examination

There is an additional one-week submission period (during office hours), for registration for the diploma examination, during which the registration folder is submitted.
