BML Endowed Professorship for Timber Construction and Design in Urban Areas
After training as a stonemason and structural engineer and studying architecture at the TU Innsbruck and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Juri Troy founded his own architecture office in Vienna. Since 2020 he has held the professorship for climate-friendly and resource-saving architecture at the HFT in Stuttgart. Jury Troy was a board member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists in Vorarlberg, a member of the Art Commission of the State of Vorarlberg and a board member of the Austrian Society for Architecture. His projects have been awarded the Austrian Client Prize, the International Chicago Athenaeum Award, the Green Good Design Award, the EU's 40 under 40 Award, the Greenbuilding FrankfurtRheinMain Award, as well as numerous timber construction prizes.
