Buchpräsentation Entwurff einer historischen Architectur

We are delighted to invite you to the presentation of the Reedition of the Entwurff einer historischen Architectur.

Upon the third centenary of the author’s death this re-print proposes to look back at Fischer’s book as a precise cultural project, reacting to a specific historical and geographical context, and yet suggesting a more general attitude that can challenge contemporary architecture as well. The volume is accompanied by a complete translation of the original texts and complemented with essays by Maarten Delbeke, Steven Lauritano and Pier Paolo Tamburelli.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday 20th December 2023 at the Prunksaal of the Austrian National Library, Josefsplatz 1, at 19.00h.

Tamburelli will be joined in conversation by Tina Gregoric, Andreas Nierhaus, Jens Schneider and a lecture by Hermann Czech.
